WOW. I started getting interested in doing some dll creation & injection because i wanted to make a simple starcraft mod. I'm starting to worry that i may be getting in over my head but i'm loving every min of it!
i'm a serious noob when it comes to c++ so forgive me, i'm a simple padiwan with much to learn any way... i downloaded Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition... what other programs am i going to need to get started? mASM? i've skimmed thru some of the tutorials posted here & i'm blown away... i feel like i'm just a little too green to understand the 'make a money dll hack for starcraft' tutorial... any help would really be appriciated. thanks |

hacks can be made in many languages, but asm or C++ is the most useful. If you have no language knowledge then c++ is the place to start.
You'll need a debugger to get inside of starcraft's code. OllyDBG is one of the better free debuggers out there. Olly + a few Olly plugins + some c++ = potential to hack starcraft. And welcome |
